John Belardo, art sculpture and drawing
Important and central to Mr Belardo's working method is the process of empirical drawing. He has dedicated much of his artistic career to drawing from both life and sculptural master work. He limits myself to the use of pure line as the drawing modality in order to reinforce the spacial physicality of the subject. Drawing becomes an exercise of visual intelligence and disciplined critical thinking.
